LAVAZZA Provides the Perfect Service for Wimbledon’s Center Court 100th Anniversary Celebrations
Thousands of tennis fans will begin to fill the courts at Wimbledon today as the iconic championships welcome full crowds for the first time in two years. To keep tennis fans fueled, long-time partner Lavazza and its expert baristas will be providing the perfect serving of authentic Italian coffee as the official Wimbledon coffeehouse for the eleventh consecutive year.
Lavazza is dedicated to serving upscale café experiences to tennis fans and, through their recently renewed partnership with the All England Lawn Tennis Club, they will remain the official café of Wimbledon until 2025.
The Championships, Wimbledon run from From Monday 27 June to Sunday 10 July 2022 and this year marks 100 years of Center Court in its current home on Church Road, Wimbledon. To celebrate, Lavazza will be providing the perfect service for tennis fans wherever they look – from center court to Lavazza’s new flagship store in central London, and from the comfort of their own home.

This year will also see the return of the iconic Wimbledon Queue where Lavazza will serve free coffee experiences to thousands of dedicated fans queuing in hopes of securing their seats in the stands. Throughout the two-week tournament, Lavazza will also serve authentic Italian coffee at 80 service outlets, including a new bar, designed to mimic the Lavazza Flagship Store, serving a variety of coffees: from delicate, fruity and floral aromas to rich and intense aromas. and full-bodied flavor. Coffee and tennis lovers can also enjoy their flawless service, knowing that sustainability has always been at the heart of Lavazza’s journey and business strategy. Initiatives demonstrating Lavazza’s ongoing commitment to sustainability include:
- 100% renewable energy used for UK, Italian, French and Canadian factories
- 65% of Lavazza Group packaging made recyclable, and 95% of industrial waste recovered

For those unable to watch the Wimbledon Championships, Lavazza offers a Wimbledon experience in the heart of central London, just off Regent Street. For this year’s championships, the London Lavazza Flagship Store got a makeover at Wimbledon, donning its famous purple and green outfit, transforming ‘Casa Lavazza’ into ‘Casa Wimbledon’ for the two weeks of the tournament. From the Strawberry Tiramisù, the Italian take on the Wimbledon strawberries and cream classic, to the refreshing Nuvola Spritz cocktail and Wimbledon’s indulgent gourmet menu, Lavazza’s flagship store will serve up Italian-inspired treats to tennis fans as they are watching live action from Wimbledon. from central London.
