John Wade is gearing up for a busy, berry-filled month.
his farm, Wade Fruit Farmin Stark County, opened to customers on June 25. Visitors to his farm can pick and buy blueberries and elderberries, which are all organic, he said.
However, due to sporadic weather, he expects low crop yields this season, which will affect the number of customers he says will visit his farm. Despite this, the pensioner is delighted to welcome anyone who decides to come and pick his own berries this summer.
