LOS ANGELES— Koe Organic Kombucha, the fruity, probiotic-rich kombucha, has a new recipe and new colorful boxes.

Along with the rebranding comes an updated Koe recipe in six flavors, including two new ones, which now contain 200% or more of the recommended daily intake of vitamin C, 25 calories per serving, 15 mg of caffeine and approximately 5 g of sugar per box. It has no artificial sweeteners, flavors or stabilizers.

Koe’s new look embraces evolving trends in fashion, art and pop culture, with a colorful background and distinctive retro “sunset stripes” that nod to the Californian roots of the brand, the Los Angeles-based company said.

“We can’t wait for everyone to see our inviting new look,” said Louisa Lawless, Chief Strategy Officer at Koe. “Koe is the kombucha for the masses and we make it easier to make healthier choices without suffering from the sour, vinegary flavor that most people associate with kombucha. I like to say Koe is ‘sessionable’, which means it’s deliciously sipping any time of day. We embrace vibrancy in all facets of life, and our juicy kombucha supports it. As our cans say, “It’s kombucha, only better.”

Unlike most kombuchas, Koe doesn’t taste funky or sour but still delivers the healthy benefits of fizzy brew, Koe said. Each box contains billions of premium live probiotics, organic fruit juices, a boost of vitamin C and sparkling water, resulting in real immune benefits and the exceptional flavor of Koe.

Koe is about 25% cheaper than traditional kombucha per serving, making it more accessible and affordable, the company said.

Koe’s six juicy flavors include two new flavors, Tropical and Watermelon, as well as Strawberry Lemonade, Raspberry Dragon Fruit, Mango, and Blueberry Ginger. It comes in 12-ounce slim cans at convenience stores and elsewhere in the United States.
