Perkins refreshes its menu, announcing the return of Strawberry Fresh-tival®

May 06, 2022 // // ATLANTA – Perkins Restaurant & Bakery today announced the return of a range of fan-favorite menus, enhancing its breakfast and lunch offerings just in time for summer .

The Strawberry Fresh-tival® menu is back at the homestyle restaurant for a limited time. With breakfast and lunch options available, the new items all feature farm-fresh strawberries that are harvested at the peak of picking season. Just in time for Mother’s Day, the limited-time strawberry range is available in all Perkins stores nationwide until the end of June.

The Fresh-tival® Strawberry menu offers four delicious lunch platters. Guests have the option to indulge in the fresh strawberry croissant flaky French toast platter, the fresh strawberry Belgian waffle platter, the decadent fresh strawberry pancake platter or a classic stack of the buttermilk pancake platter with fresh strawberries. Each good berry meal is topped with glazed fresh strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped topping. These delicious entrees come with two eggs served any style and a choice of strips of applewood smoked bacon or pork sausage.

Two refreshing new breakfast selections enhance the range, with strawberries added to the mix to highlight the vibrant color and natural sweetness of the fruit. The Fresh Strawberry Salad with Walnuts and Grilled Chicken features garden-fresh spinach with grilled chicken, strawberries, red onions and candied walnuts, all topped with a homemade strawberry vinaigrette. Equally tasty, the Sonoma Chicken Salad Croissant & Fresh Strawberry Salad Combo features a buttery flaky croissant loaded with a mixture of roasted pulled chicken, red grapes, celery and nuts. The meal is perfectly accompanied by a small spinach salad garnished with fresh strawberries, red onions, candied walnuts and homemade strawberry vinaigrette.

The limited-time offers also include two mouth-watering bakery treats, both of which are favorites of the year. The Fresh Strawberry Pie features fresh strawberries glazed with Bavarian cream in a flaky pie crust and the Strawberry Cream Cheese Mammoth Muffin® is baked with lots of strawberries and topped with a strawberry cream cheese frosting.
