Titan Farms in Trenton supplies peaches to much of the Southeast
TRENTON, SC (WJBF) – You can’t talk about the Ridge Peach Festival without talking about peaches, and you can’t talk about peaches without talking about Titan Farms.
“Titan Farms is the premier grower, packer, shipper and processor of peaches in the Southeast,” said co-owner Lori Anne Carr.
They are in their 23rd season and you can find peaches just about anywhere you look.
“We’re down the east coast, all your major retailers, Publix, Harris Teeter, Lowes,” Carr said.
About how many peaches do they make per year?
“Last year we were just over £1.8million,” Carr said.
Titan Farms is a big part of the community. It is one of the largest employers in the department.
For years, people from all over have shown their appreciation to Titan Farms.
“The response, especially for our roadside stand, has really increased. We have one in Trenton and in Aiken. We sell locally grown fruits and vegetables as much as possible, watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, peaches of course. Then we also have lots of jams and jellies, cookbooks, peach donuts and homemade peach and strawberry ice cream,” Carr said.
The folks at Titan Farms say they want everyone to come have a good time at the Ridge Peach Festival.
“Everyone goes out and enjoys some good fresh peaches from Titan Farms. Purchased at Sara’s roadside kiosk or at the farm.
