Head to Primitive and you’ll find not only a lovely local market, but also an antique store, farm shop and cafe, all in one convenient destination. In other words, it’s the perfect place for a quick weekend excursion.

Welcome to Primitive! Nestled in the beautiful and peaceful community of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, this store is one you’ll want to experience for yourself.
Enter and you will find a beautiful and carefully decorated space. The business describes itself as a hometown cafe, but you’ll also find that it doubles as an antique store and a farmers market.

As you wander through the space, you’ll admire all the handpicked antiques that are available for purchase.
You’ll also find many products made in Virginia, including artwork and pottery. Needless to say, you’ll be tempted to take something home.
If you’ve worked up an appetite, you’re in luck, because there are plenty of delicious and nutritious snacks to choose from.
