The five-bedroom detached house is up for sale for £1,150,000. Based in the ‘highly regarded’ suburb of Calderstones near Mossley Hill, the house is secluded behind a brick wall on Menlove Avenue.
It is within walking distance of local beauty spots including Calderstones Park and Sefton Park. Popular food and drink hotspots such as Allerton Road and Lark Lane are also in the area.

While tourist sites including Strawberry Field and John Lennon’s childhood home are also on the same stretch of road. According to sales data from Rightmove, properties in the area where the house is located had an overall average price of £431,791 over the past year.
Most sales at Calderstones over the past year have been for individual properties, selling for an average price of £637,033. While apartments sold for an average of £204,956, semi-detached properties cost £473,509.

Overall selling prices at Calderstones over the past year were similar to the previous year and up 9% from the 2018 peak of £395,293. Pictures on Rightmove show the house has a large double-door entrance that leads into an “amazing hall and foyer”.
It has many luxurious features, including porcelain tiles, a chandelier, and a glass balcony that set the tone for the entire property, which boasts “carefully thought-out architecture.” On the ground floor there are numerous family rooms and the first of five bedrooms.
The main living area overlooks the front garden of the property and has a multi-fuel log burner, which helps to create a cozy atmosphere. Adjacent is a family entertainment room.

An open concept layout allows for plenty of space in the kitchen/dining area. The fitted fitted kitchen has been made to measure and has an island, two ovens, two dishwashers, two warming drawers and a hot water tap.
From the kitchen, aluminum folding doors lead out to the rear garden space, which would allow for alfresco dining in the warmer months. This area also has a separate laundry room and bathroom.
The first floor mezzanine leads to the remaining four bedrooms and a family bathroom. Some of the double bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms. While the two master bedrooms each come with their own bespoke storage designs.
