McDonald’s Shamrock Shake is back in Ocean County

McDonald’s sold over 60 million of them since its introduction in 1970.

According to spoonuniversity.com a large one has about 820. That’s equivalent to 1.25 Big Macs, 1.5 Large Fries, 2.5 Sundaes, or 3 Egg McMuffins. Oh my word. I really should say it’s Shawn Michaels’ favorite thing in the whole world. Although, he puts his fries in it, yuck. And he has a problem with me dipping all my food in ranch dressing. Either way, McDonald’s Shamrock Shake is available now at your local participating McDonald’s.

Why is McDonald’s Shamrock Shake so popular?

It’s minty. It’s green. It’s “spring”. There are so many reasons why it would be so popular. I was talking to Judy from Toms River and she said to me speaking of the Shamrock Shake, “Oh Sue, this is the ‘best’ thing ever.” She gets one every year when they first come out. “It makes me so happy,” she says. Take a Big Mack and add a McChicken and add a File-o-Fish and there you have your sandwich. WOW, damn it. It’s called Land, Air and Sea. Another “Hack Menu”, the Double Crunch is a Double Cheeseburger, 6 pc. Chicken McNuggets and their BBQ sauce.
