New Yorker ready for the chance of a lifetime on Food Network

For many chefs, just joining Food Network is a chance to boost their career. This chance for a New Yorker could potentially do a lot more.

The New Yorker we’re talking about is Phillip Tomasso, who already has a pretty amazing story if he never made it to a competitive show on the Food Network. Tomasso actually owns a restaurant that was owned by a former Food Network competitor. It certainly helped him a bit to get a pretty big opportunity.

The bakery he owns, named Something Delicious, is already on the network’s radar for the reason mentioned above. Now a new show called Chance Of A Lifetime by Guy Fieri is coming up and Tomasso has the chance to take this opportunity as his own.

That’s the really fun thing about owning a Guy Fieri restaurant. Fieri has restaurant franchises called Chicken Guy and one of those places will go to the winner of the new series, wouldn’t it be cool if it was one of New York’s own restaurants? Tomasso currently owns a bakery in Rochester, and here’s what he said about almost missing the call to appear on the show.

“So I applied and didn’t hear anything, and I still haven’t heard anything, then I realized my voicemail was full and I had missed a call two weeks before I did.” had been chosen to continue. the next round of selection, and I got a big text saying “Phil, you gotta get back to us right now, we really want you”, and I was like “Oh my God, I did it!” Phillip Tomasso / Rochester first

Currently, if you have Discovery Plus, you can start watching the show. The finale of the new show is set for February 6. Shows will be dropped on this platform every week until then.
